Mount Bachelor – Todd Lake Building

This is the Todd Lake building at the Mount Bachelor ski area and Mt. Bachelor Terrain Parks. We did a full remodel to this building a few years back, but this photo was taken a few weeks ago on a crisp morning by one of our employees while Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company crews were working on a different building.

John Day Fire Station – Determination

Cold weather and mother nature has taken a firm hold in the City of John Day, but a determined Kirby Nagelhout Construction Team is focused on completing the John Day Rural Fire Station during the challenging winter weather. The John Day Fire Station will house volunteer personnel and their equipment for the City of John Day Fire, as well as the John Day Rural Fire Protection District. Construction is scheduled to be completed this spring.

KNCC Christmas Potluck

December 24, 2015 was the day for the annual employee Christmas Pot Luck held each year in the fabrication shop area at Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company. Each year we try to meet for our annual pot luck, featuring smoked turkey from Chris Inman and deep fried french fries from company President Jeff Deswert and his assistant this year, Tyler Nagelhout.Pot Luck Christmas 2015 1

Deschutes County – 1340 Wall Street Remodel

1340 Wall Street is the location for a large remodel and tenant improvement project being completed by Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company. The building is owned by Deschutes County and houses the County Medical Clinic, Pharmacy and other Social Service Agencies associated with Deschutes County.

The Architect for the project is BLRB Architects and the project is being managed by the Deschutes County Facilities Department. Work is scheduled to be completed in spring of 2016.

Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center

In September 2015 Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company was awarded the CM/GC contract for the Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center located on the Umatilla Indian Reservation. The Medical Clinic is being constructed by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation with the goal of providing quality medical care to the members of the Confederated Tribes of Umatilla Indian Reservation. The approximate 60,000 square foot Medical Clinic project is being directed out of our Pendleton, Oregon office and is due to be completed in in the summer of 2017. The project is being managed by Wenaha Group and NBBJ is the architect.

Oregon State Sheriff’s Association (OSSA)

In December 2015 Kirby Nagelhout Construction was notified by the Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association (OSSA) that our firm had been chosen to complete an office remodel and addition to the OSSA building located in Salem Oregon. The OSSA is a non-profit organization that serves and represents the Sheriff’s in Oregon on an administrative level. This project will be managed and completed by our Portland Office. The is scheduled to be completed in mid to late August 2016.
