This is the Todd Lake building at the Mount Bachelor ski area and Mt. Bachelor Terrain Parks. We did a full remodel to this building a few years back, but this photo was taken a few weeks ago on a crisp morning by one of our employees while Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company crews were working on a different building.
December 24, 2015 was the day for the annual employee Christmas Pot Luck held each year in the fabrication shop area at Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company. Each year we try to meet for our annual pot luck, featuring smoked turkey from Chris Inman and deep fried french fries from company President Jeff Deswert and his assistant this year, Tyler Nagelhout.
1340 Wall Street is the location for a large remodel and tenant improvement project being completed by Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company. The building is owned by Deschutes County and houses the County Medical Clinic, Pharmacy and other Social Service Agencies associated with Deschutes County.
The Architect for the project is BLRB Architects and the project is being managed by the Deschutes County Facilities Department. Work is scheduled to be completed in spring of 2016.
In September 2015 Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company was awarded the CM/GC contract for the Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center located on the Umatilla Indian Reservation. The Medical Clinic is being constructed by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation with the goal of providing quality medical care to the members of the Confederated Tribes of Umatilla Indian Reservation. The approximate 60,000 square foot Medical Clinic project is being directed out of our Pendleton, Oregon office and is due to be completed in in the summer of 2017. The project is being managed by Wenaha Group and NBBJ is the architect.
In December 2015 Kirby Nagelhout Construction was notified by the Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association (OSSA) that our firm had been chosen to complete an office remodel and addition to the OSSA building located in Salem Oregon. The OSSA is a non-profit organization that serves and represents the Sheriff’s in Oregon on an administrative level. This project will be managed and completed by our Portland Office. The is scheduled to be completed in mid to late August 2016.
In December 2015 Kirby Nagelhout Construction was notified by the Bend La Pine School District that an intent to award CM/GC had been issued to our firm for the upcoming 2016 summer school repair and remodel of a total of five schools in the Bend La Pine School District. Work is scheduled to occur during the summer 2016 break at the La Pine Middle School, Amity Creek Magnet School @ Thompson, Juniper Elementary, Pilot Butte Middle School and the Education Center. BBT Architects and Steele & Associates are the architect firms responsible for the design of the work to be completed.
In December 2015, Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company was notified that Sherman County, OR had issued an intent to award bid to our firm for the Sherman County Administrative Building Addition. The project is being managed by the Wenaha Group and the architect chosen for the project was Hennebery Eddy Architects. The project is in the early stages of design and may also include some work to the Historic Sherman County Court House. The project is due to be completed in early 2017.
Work continues on the Sherman County School located in Moro Oregon. The project is in full swing with obvious progress being made on the school project.
The project includes an addition to the existing school, a new agriculture building and a new building for grades K-5. Kirby Nagelhout Construction started work on the project in mid-August 2015.
Work continues on the 31,000 square foot Nosler Building located in Redmond Oregon. The building is a single story tilt-up concrete structure with steel joists, metal deck and steel columns. Kirby Nagelhout Construction employees prepare the forming for the tilt-up concrete structure. The project is slated for substantial completion in December 2015.
Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company has recently completed a remodel and addition to the existing building of the Humane Society of Central Oregon located in Bend.
The project is called the “Cattery Addition”. The addition provides 575 square feet of added space to help deal with the increase in cat population in the Central Oregon area.
Kirby Nagelhout Nagelhout Construction Company was very proud to work on this project and assist the community in the humane care of animals in our area.
