KLAMATH COUNTY ROAD DEPARTMENT MAINTENANCE FACILITY

Project Description

A Maintenance Facility for the Klamath County Road Department vehicles. The scope of the project included four new buildings totaling approximately 30,000 square feet, as well as the remodel of an existing 20,000 square foot structure. The new buildings included a Fuel Station, an Automatic Truck Wash, a building for weed control programs and a Maintenance Building with two trolley cranes, a jib crane, two truck lifts and approximately 10,000 square feet of office space. Much of the energy required to condition the space in the building uses 16 wells on site for a geo-thermal heat pump system. The buildings are all pre-engineered metal buildings provided by “Metallic Building Company” with insulated roof and wall panels. Site work infrastructure includes block heater plug in facilities and parking for Klamath County Road Department’s fleet of vehicles and equipment.
