Scope of Work

The Silver Rail School is the newest Elementary School for the Bend-LaPine School District l, opened 2015 for enrollment. The project consists of a new 2-story wood frame and masonry building of approximately 72,000 sq.ft. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, grading, excavation, parking, utilities, landscape & related sitework improvements.

This building reflects a fundamental shift in the prototypical approach used by the Bend-LaPine School District. A rigorous analysis of the old prototype and design process for the new one was facilitated by the design team to insure that the new school would be a safe, creative, beautiful and durable learning environment with the flexibility to adapt to changes and trends in technology. The features include administrative office, module study areas, large open areas utilizing light and enhancing an atmosphere promoting the learning environment.
