Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare the building foundation layout.
• Form and pour concrete foundations for walls and footings.
• Work with materials such as wood, plastic, steel, or concrete.
• Utilize hand and power tools and work in accordance with company and OSHA safety best practices.
• Frame floors, walls and roof structures.
• Perform finish carpentry, and install doors/frames & hardware, and windows.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts. Proper company certification is provided and required.
• Work on elevated platforms, such as ladders and scaffolding.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations to minimize risk of workplace accidents.
• Report any unsafe workplace conditions or unsafe acts by others to Management immediately.

Basic Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• 2 years carpentry experience required.
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to jobsites within the Central Oregon Region.
• Must have physical strength and manual dexterity, including hand/eye coordination, to manage all materials and tasks as required per job.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
