It was 10 years ago that we built this exciting net-zero and LEED Platinum Science and Music Building for Hood River Middle School with Opsis Architecture. It is the first certified net-zero public school building in the country!

Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company (KNCC) was founded in 1986 and has grown to become one of Oregon’s largest contractors, consistently in the DJC’s top 15. We have permanent ofﬁces in Bend, Portland, and Pendleton. Our staff of over 170 employees works on more than 75 projects a year throughout Oregon and Southern Washington. We are well-versed in both private and public contracting with active CM/GC, Design-Build, and Lump Sum projects always in progress.
