Each year, citizens and the business community gather to support the Deschutes Children’s Foundation with an @Art and Wine Auction. This year the event was held at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes in Bend, Oregon. For the last several years, Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company has been the Key sponsor for the event and this year was no exception. The Deschutes Children’s Foundation is a centralized location for financial contributions to 26 nonprofit partners who serve more than 20,000 children and families in Deschutes County with basic day to day services and support. The attached letter from Company President Jeff Deswert was published in advance of the event and was also the first page in the program for the evenings auction. According to event organizers, the event set records for contributions and was a huge success.
