The Crook County Public Safety Facility is a 31,000 sf functioning jail with 38 separate cells for housing inmates, a full commercial kitchen, commercial laundry, and booking and processing amenities for receiving inmates. This facility is located adjacent to the operational Crook County Sheriff’s office and part of it ties into the existing facility. It is located downtown in Prineville and close to the Crook County Courthouse. This project was a long-needed addition to Crook County and was delivered within the budget allotted for the facility.
