KNCC won the 2018 DJC Top Project award in the Industrial Category for the Daimler Trucks North America High Desert Proving Grounds in Madras, OR. KNCC was hired early in the design process as the Construction Manager/General Contractor. This unique and challenging project included the development of a test track and campus complex with plans for future expansion of operations at the site. KNCC, the architect, and the structural and civil engineers developed a toolkit that included design specifications, construction processes and procedures, and quality control standards for the facility in Central Oregon that will be used as a model for future Daimler test tracks built around the world.
